Event Date: February 06, 2025
Hosted By: Datadog, AWS & ̽»¨ÊÓƵ
Location: Arlington, VA
Attendees joined Datadog & AWS in Arlington for a free workshop on Thursday, February 6th.

This workshop gave attendees an introductory tour of Datadog’s integration for AWS. In a series of hands-on exercises, participants learned how to collect metrics and logs from core AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS on Fargate, RDS, and EC2. Then, they explored the resulting metrics, logs, and out-of-the-box dashboards in the Datadog app.

After completing this course, participants are now able to:
  • Explain several different methods for getting AWS infrastructure metrics, logs, and other data into Datadog
  • Install Datadog's Amazon Web Services Integration to monitor your resources and services in AWS
  • Install and run the Datadog Agent across EC2 and Fargate
  • Discover, graph, and monitor AWS metrics in Datadog
  • Search and query AWS service logs in Datadog
